Matthew J. Montesi
President and Owner
Mr. Montesi joined North Country Janitorial Inc. in 1994 and currently holds the position of President and Owner. Mr. Montesi started at NCJ as a carpet cleaning and disaster restoration technician and held this position for nine years. Over the duration of these nine years, Mr. Montesi established the Rental Mat and Industrial Laundry Division. In 2003, Mr. Montesi became President and Owner of North Country Janitorial Inc. Since the start of his tenure, Mr. Montesi has expanded the company to service areas ranging from Delmar to the Canadian border and his employee headcount has grown to a total of 242.
Mr. Montesi was a Rotarian exchange student in Brazil for one year prior to attending college. He graduated from St. John Fisher College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Anthropology with a concentration in Linguistics. This is where he met his wife, Betsy Montesi, who he has been married to since 1995. Mr. Montesi served on the Board of Directors and was past Vice Chairman of the Warren Industrial Development Agency. He also participated on the Board of Trustees of the Glens Falls YMCA. Mr. Montesi holds IICRC Certifications in carpet cleaning, fire & smoke damage restoration technician, water damage restoration technician, and odor control.
